Bread or dinner rolls are often a last minute thought for a special celebration meal. The host is already so busy with every other detail, the bread can be forgotten and then relegated to whatever is left on the grocery store shelf. A crusty chewy piece of bread or a perfectly sour sourdough roll is a real treat though, especially when served with fresh butter or olive oil and balsamic vinegar (it is a celebration, afterall!). So, don’t miss a trick – ask a guest to bring the bread. Maybe one of them makes their own beautiful bread and would be happy to bring some warm from their oven to your table.
