Pound Cake Glaze

Yield: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 6-8 tablespoons lemon juice, depending on desired consistency
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese

Directions

  1. In an electric mixing bowl cream cheese and lemon juice together.
  2. Blend in powdered sugar, beat until well blended, thick, and glossy. Will take about 3 – 5 minutes of mixing.
  3. Pour over cooled pound cake. This icing will firm up and dry to the touch but will be soft under the surface of the glaze.
  • Yield: 2 cups
