Cranberry Orange Relish

Perfect for a Thanksgiving feast, this recipe for piquant and aromatic relish may be doubled or tripled.

Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz bag Fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp Cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp Orange peel, coarsely grated
  • 1 Orange, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp Crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Immediately reduce the heat and simmer 20 minutes. Let cool before serving.
