Whether you’re boiling eggs or potatoes, or cooking a batch of steamed vegetables, this handy pot has a special feature - a clever design for straining, pouring or covered cooking. The lid has a deep rim with straining holes. To strain, line the holes up with the pan's pour spouts and strain with ease. For covered cooking, rotate the lid to close the holes and moisture will stay inside the pan. To pour, remove the lid and use the pour spouts that are built into the pan body.
With its bright red exterior and modern profile, Circulon Contempo™ Red will instantly energize the look of any kitchen with a bold burst of color. Heavy-gauge construction offers fast, even heating for great cooking results every time. The comfortable silicone and stainless steel handle is double riveted for extra strength and is oven safe to 400°F; a fold-out ring allows for convenient hanging. The shatter-resistant tempered glass lid allows for monitoring the cooking process without losing moisture or flavor. This fresh take on cookware also features the TOTAL® Food Release System of unique “Hi-Low” waves to reduce surface abrasion, and is coupled with DuPont Autograph® advanced 3-layer nonstick to deliver extraordinary food release and exceptional durability – and it’s metal utensil safe. The magnetic stainless steel base is designed for use on all cook tops, including induction ranges. The collection is dishwasher-safe, making clean-up quick and easy.
- TOTAL® Food Release is more that just a nonstick. It is a combination of an improved Hi-Low wave technology and an advanced nonstick formula which provides extraordinary food release and exceptional durability.
- Comfortable silicone and stainless steel handle is oven safe to 400°F
- Professional heavy-gauge hard-anodized heats up quickly and spreads heat evenly - no hot spots that burn foods.
- A deep skirted lid has large holes and one side and small ones on the other so you can easily strain both large and small foods.
