Always have good quality low-sodium chicken broth in the pantry. It’s perfect for deglazing a pan after grilling pork or chicken and, with the addition of a little white wine, can reduce down for a flavorful and quick sauce. If a whole container of broth won’t be used before it expires, consider freezing the remainder in ice cube trays and storing the cubes in zip-top plastic bags in the freezer. When you need more broth, pop some cubes in the microwave on defrost and you’re ready to go.
